Toshiba and Asus have come up with new laptops targeting different classes of consumers. Let us first start with Toshiba’s two new laptops: Satellite M500 and U500. Both the laptops fit in glossy plastic cases, and thus, looking pretty much gorgeous. The laptops are offering Windows 7 operating system which will hit the market on October 2009. M500 which features 16-inch LCD display is priced at $749.99, while 13.3-inch U500 is available at $849.99.

Asus G60 is a gaming laptop targeted at the gamers. No doubt, G60 features some strong features including 4GB memory, storage from 320GB HDD to 1TB SSD, and a Blu-ray drive. It also comes with a GeForce GTX 260M graphics. Naturally, the price of Asus G60 will be much higher than a standard laptop. The laptop starts at $2500 and will be available in Europe in September. So, general gamers do not seem to afford to buy a laptop with such a high price tag.
