  • Eurocom D901C Phantom-X Laptop Comes with 1.5 TB of HDD

    Eurocom has recently introduced Eurocom D901C Phantom-X laptop, the update one of Eurocom’s quad-core Xeon laptop of last year. Eurocom has some excellent and high end features including 1.5 TB (terabytes) of HDD in this laptop. It comes with Nvidia 9800GTX graphics card with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of DDR-800 RAM. Powered by Intel Xeon quad-core X3360 processor, Eurocom D901C Phantom-X laptop has 17-inch display screen. However, when it comes to portability, the laptop is not idle with 15.8 inches wide by 11.9 inches deep by two inches thick and weighs about 12llb. The laptop is priced at $2,700 (£1,390). So, the price of Eurocom D901C Phantom-X laptop is not that much catchy.

    Dubbed the Eurocom D901C Phantom-X, the laptop comes with an Intel Xeon quad-core X3360 processor running at 2.83GHz with 12MB of L2 cache. It has a built-in UPS, gigabit Ethernet port on-board, a 17-inch display and 8GB of DDR-800 RAM. The hard drives are set up to support Raid 0, Raid 1 or Raid 5.

    Naturally these features take their toll on portability: the Phantom-X measures 15.8 inches wide by 11.9 inches deep by two inches thick. It weighs just shy of 12lb, according to Eurocom. Pricing for the base configuration starts at around $2,700 (£1,390).

    Eurocom is also planning to launch another revamp model of this laptop later this year. The next version will include 3TB of hard disc drive with some other features. Eurocom is trying to make a laptop targeting software and/or database developers, training centers, military personnel, emergency-relief organizations and service organizations. The company is trying to create a new segment of laptop which is dubbed ‘mobile server’- that means this laptop will provide high end and powerful computing performance for the traveling users. Now, let us see if Eurocom D901C Phantom-X laptop can attract the users and make some quick cash in for Eurocom.
