  • Dell Assured of Solving the Key Board problem of Vostro 1310 and 1510 Laptops

    Dell has admitted that there are some Dell Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptop comes with wrong key board lay out. However, the company has taken some initiative and assured the affected buyers to solve the problem as soon as possible and the upcoming volumes of Dell Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptops will not have any problem in its key boards.

    The problem, as recorded by Flickr member Jacob Gordon centres around the left shift key on the keyboard being too large forcing the / to replace the spot where the Z key normally sits below the A and the S (see pictures).

    “A limited number of Dell Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptops in Europe have been sent out with the wrong keyboard layout. We are working diligently to offer a solution to impacted customers and correct the error before any additional units are shipped.”
    “We will be contacting impacted customers directly to both apologise and instruct them on next steps.”

    Dell is investigating the matter. Dell also said that key board problem will be resolved within few weeks. Dell Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptops are latest from Dell. Now, it is would be interesting to see if users keep their belief on Dell and go for these two models. In fact, as Dell authority has assured of solving the problem, I think, there should not have any problem for Dell in the market.
