  • Alienware Launches Area-51 m17 Laptop for the Gamers

    Alienware has launched its gaming laptop in the US market recently. Area-51 m17 laptop comes with some high end features including Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTX in a dual GPU SLI configuration, Intel’s Core 2 extreme processor and up to 4 gigs of RAM. The laptop also offers HDMI port, two firewire ports, USB and card reader. Area-51 m17 has storage of 1.4 terabytes. Run on Vista Home Premium, Area-51 m17 seems to be a powerful laptop for the gamers.

    Alienware’s traditional glut of ports include an HDMI out, two firewire ports, USB and card reader and up to 1.4 terabytes of HDD storage. Vista Home Premium (or Ultimate) and enhanced HD television options are all available, although the laptop can be customised before ordering.

    The weighty spec inevitably brings with it a weighty price tag that starts at nearly $3,000, that’s around £1,500.

    The UK release date is not yet revealed. The laptop has some excellent features, but the cost is high too. Now, let us see if Alienware’s Area-51 m17 works well and gamers find it a worthy laptop.
